    About Honourable Mark A.G. Brantley

    Honourable Mark A.G. Brantley has taken a leave of absence from the Firm to pursue his political career. He is the Premier of the island of Nevis as of the 19th day of December, 2017 and holds the ministerial portfolios of Finance, Statistics, Economic Planning, Human Resources, Industry, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Tourism, Government Information Service and Nevis Television, Public Utilities and Energy and Foreign Investments. He is also an elected member of the Federal Parliament of St Christopher and Nevis, and served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation for St Christopher and Nevis from 2015-2022. Honourable Brantley previously served as the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis (2007 – 2015) and again serves in that position as of 2022. As Premier of Nevis, he brings unparalleled insight into the regulatory environment, business climate, and investment opportunities that make Nevis an attractive jurisdiction for international business. His extensive experience in government and deep understanding of Nevis's legal and financial framework make him uniquely qualified to speak on conducting business in this important Caribbean financial center.
